Two child Jungian analysts are offering a weekly, two-hour child consultation group that will run for five sessions
This program is for child clinicians who would like to deepen their work. Members will be limited to eight participants who will present case material of work with children, which the group will discuss through a Jungian lens. The focus will be on transference/countertransference; symbolism appearing in creative work such as sandplay, drawing, clay, or other expressive modalities; and archetypal and clinical themes. Jung’s “The Psychology of the Child Archetype” will be assigned and discussed in the first session.

She is certified by ANCC as a child and adolescent psychiatric and mental health clinical nurse specialist. She has interests in weaving integrative medicine and mindfulness within depth psychotherapy practice.
LAUREN CUNNINGHAM, LCSW is a member International Society for Sandplay Therapy and Child & Adult analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. Founding editor of the Journal of Sandplay Therapy and Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, she consults with Parent Participation Nursery Schools, S.F., and internationally. Her analytic practice is in San Francisco.
