The integration of the psyche in mystical traditions is a rich tradition that provides the basis for the experience and practice of compassionate wisdom with all sentient life. In a time when social realities dominate our perceptions and lives, we can choose to step back and ask who we are when we become aware of the presence of the sacred. For the world’s mystics, that is how our world will create enduring change freeing us from hate and separation. Artists through participation mystique, science exploring beauty and interconnection and the insights of Pema Chodron, Desmond Tutu, Rumi and C.G. Jung will guide us into the articulation and expression of care, spiritual unity and cooperation.
