She published a chapter “Play, Creation and the Numinous” in Jungian Child Analysis, 2018, by Fisher King Press. She practices in San Francisco.
Christopher Cunningham, PhD, is an analyst in private practice at West Portal Counseling Associates in San Francisco. He specializes in men’s issues especially around the midlife crisis. After attending several workshops with Robert Bly and Michael Mead he launched a private bimonthly men’s group that has been meeting for thirty years. A men’s community grew out of that group that produced an initiation ceremony for adolescents, a yearly backpacking group and a wine making cooperative. He believes that men need a thriving community forum with other men to promote their growth toward wholeness.
Description:
We will examine the use of the terms anima and animus before Jung, Jung’s conceptions of anima and animus development, post-Jungian expansions and refinements of the concepts.
