Description: For young adults to develop beyond adolescence, they must psychologically leave “home” by being tested in the outer world of work and relationships. The inner child may not want to grow up, or may have already grown up too quickly. As ego development proceeds, the devalued and neglected parts of the personality typically erupt at midlife. By attending to dreams and the therapeutic relationship, we will explore the transformative potential of Jungian psychotherapy with young and middle-aged adults.
