Finding the Philosopher's Stone: Jungian Perspectives and Contemplative Practice

What is the alchemical philosopher's stone? Where do I find it? How can it aid me in my individualization and transformation? The philosopher's stone is a mysterious alchemical substance that comes in many forms and allows for us to transmute heavy and chaotic internal states and complexes. We will review Jungian concepts on the stone and explore how relationship and the contemplative practices of the wheel of awareness, tonglen, metta, the Peruvian shamanic crystal meditation, and active imagination can act as this transformative agent.
