A Jungian View of Clinical Work - Winter 2018

For Clinicians-in-Training

The James G. Whitney Clinic at the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco is pleased to offer

A Jungian View of Clinical Work:
A monthly study group/case seminar for pre-licensed clinicians

Facilitated by Gale Lipsyte, Ph.D. & Jeffrey Swanger, Ph.D.

In this hour-and-a-half monthly seminar, we will study selected papers by C.G. Jung and others that elucidate key concepts in Jung’s perspective on the psyche. We will also explore participants’ case material, across clinical settings and populations, through a Jungian lens.  Areas of study will include a Jungian view of the unconscious, dreams, the frame, symbolic attitude and transference/countertransference. The seminar will be facilitated by Jungian analysts and is open to pre-licensed  clinicians-in-training who are interested in exploring their clinical experience through a contemporary Jungian lens.

Registration for this 2017-18 Seminar is offered in three-month segments. You do not have to be enrolled in the previous segment to join the upcoming segment.  Fee: $90 per segment
