Body and Psyche: A Living Entwinement
DECEMBER 6th
10am - 4:30pm
TUITION: $180
6 CEUs
AT THE INSTITUTE AND LIVESTREAM
The body can be a portal to the numinous dimensions of life. Whether working with trauma, deepening affective life, cultivating a sense of inner home, exploring creativity, or seeking to vivify the numinosity of everyday life, a Jungian approach to the psyche is made more immediate by being with the body. In this day-long workshop, Barbara and Robin will offer theoretical perspectives and exercises and encourage discussion while emphasizing the bodily basis of psychic life, its significance in working with trauma, and the intersections between imagination and the body in clinical work and beyond. Participants will be pre-licensed and licensed psychotherapists interested in incorporating body awareness from a Jungian perspective into their clinical work and lives. Barbara and Robin will present separately and then collaborate for discussions and integration of the material presented.
